FLIR SAFIRE III Turret (Forward Looking Infrared)The FLIR Turret (Forward Looking Infrared) is equipped with and infrared camera, low light color camera, spotter scope, laser range finder, and laser pointer. The FLIR is integrated to work with a moving map program that can display street, topographic, and aeronautical maps. The superior smoke penetrating capability of the FLIR infrared camera can be operated a safe distance from the incident without interfering with the aircraft incident fire traffic area. |
